This program is for you!

The Details:

12 Week Program

For athletes aged 9-13 years, and adult beginners.

This 12-week program has 3 different phases, each building off the last and preparing you for phase 3. You will strength train twice per week in addition to your other skills- and team-based practice. Workouts can be done at home with minimal equipment.

This program is designed to help you:

  • Get acquainted with strength training foundations for success in the game.

  • Improve your strength, coordination, balance and acceleration.

  • Maximise nutrition for fast recovery and more energy.

  • Know when to train and when to rest.

  • Understand meal-timing for performance.

  • Provide a smooth transition for competing in high school and beyond.

Equipment required:

  • Resistance bands.

  • Optional but recommended: Light-weight dumbbells or kettlebells, lightweight med balls, OR you can use heavy water bottles from your local grocery store, and slightly deflated soccer balls for various exercises.
